July 24 2015 - Member Ratify New Agreement

On July 24, URS members who maintain EA18G Growlers on NAS Whidbey Island ratified a new four-year agreement. The agreement contained a total of 10% in general wage increases over the 4 years, increases to the IAM National Pension Plan of .20 cents per year bringing the contribution during the agreement to $1.40 per hour. Improvements were made to the cost split in healthcare. Vacation/sick leave/administrative leave were combined into PTO. And work rules were improved. The bargaining committee worked hard, kept the membership unified and made sure every member knew what was at stake. Great job IAM 751 members at URS! Way to stick together and speak with one voice.
