October 2nd 2019 - Update

Dear Tect Workforce,

The IAM&AW Union has evaluated the support of the workers at your facility for the upcoming election October 3rd and 4th. After carefully evaluating the level of support in forming your Union we have to pull the petition for the election (so an election will not take place). We believe a silent majority supports the effort of being represented by the IAM&AW Union, but cannot move forward because we have not received that showing of support in the form of the Vote Yes pledge and because of this, we respect your choice.

If we were to move this process forward without confirming support it would be irresponsible for the workforce. If we were to run the election and lose an election we could not file again for 12 months. Since we are pulling the petition we can refile if and when Tect Aerospace doesn't follow through with promises they made.
