Q: If you are required to work a mandatory Saturday, are you able to use sick time if you wake up sick or a child is sick?
A: No you could not use sick leave but may qualify for FMLA

Q: What is considered my base pay?
A: Base pay does not include shift differential or team lead pay.

Q: I’m an assembler with 1 year at AIM, How much should I be making and when is my next raise? (see pay table in contract link here)
A: Assembler’s are under the Manufacturing Category. Effective April 28th your base pay should be $11.60. On your 18 month anniversary your pay rate will increase to $12.10. On your 2 year anniversary, in 2015 your pay rate will increase to $12.70. Your next pay increase is on your 3 year anniversary in 2016 and your pay rate will be $13.50. Your next increase will be on your 4 year anniversary and your pay is increased by 2.75 percent (.37 cents).

Q: Why did some get more than others?
A: The wage table was developed with a minimum pay rate based on years with the Company for each category, Manufacturing, Quality, Support. Members below the minimum pay rate were brought up to the minimum rate of pay. This resulted in an average pay increase of 5.6 percent effective April 28th

Q: Who decided what jobs went into each category?
A: The Company determined the categories and jobs within the categories. The Union challenged the rate of pay based on the time required to develop the skill and job knowledge required to perform the work.
